Churches from across the area will again be bringing the story of Easter to the wider public during Walk of Witness processions on Good Friday in Stamford, Rutland and Bourne.

In Stamford, the Walk of Witness, organised by Churches Together, will take place through the town centre, starting at the bottom of Ironmonger Street at midday.

In Oakham, Churches Together will hold a Walk of Witness through the town, starting at 10.30am in Westgate and then proceeding through the town to the Buttercross area, where a short open air service will be held.

Churches Together in Bourne will also host a service in the United Reformed Church at 10am, followed by a Walk of Witness through the town.
