Performances of Peter Pan on January 20-21

Have your say

MORE than 50 children from four to 18 will take to the stage at The Deepings School tonight and tomorrow to perform Peter Pan.

The children, who are all members of Priory Players, have been rehearsing the parts of Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, Smee, Tigerlily the dame, mermaids, indians, fairies and pirates since September.

This production of J M Barrie’s novel will be performed in memory of Tess Blessett, founder member of Priory Players in 1947. Her grand-daughter, Kate Redhead, has taken the reigns and produced Peter Pan.

Performance times are 7pm tonight and tomorrow with a matinee tomorrow at 2pm. Tickets are £7 (£5) or £20 for a family of two adults and two children.

Tickets for the evening performances will be available on the door. Contact Louise Spriggs - 01778 345910 for advance tickets before 10pm or e-mail
