What’s on stage in your area this panto season

IT’S well and truly panto season and here’s a list of what’s coming up on stage in the area.

Some are opening next week so get ready to shout “it’s behind you”.

l At Langtoft Village Hall you can see Langtoft Players’ production of Jack and the Beanstalk from Wednesday until Saturday, December 10. Tickets are £6 for adults £4 for children. There is a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Box office: 7 West End Langtoft or on the door (Subject to availability).

l Aladdin can be seen at the Key Theatre in Peterborough from Thursday until January 8. Box office - 01733 207239

l Alice in Wonderland has opened at The Royal And Derngate in Northampton and can be seen until January 8.

l On Wednesday Aladdin will open in South Holland Centre, Spalding with performances until January 2

l Potted Panto – starring CBBC’s Dan and Jeff can be seen at The Corby Cube from Wednesday until Sunday, December 11.

l Hansel and Gretel is on at The Junction in Cambridge from Wednesday until January 3.

l Cinderella will be performed in the Theatre Royal, Lincoln from Wednesday until January 16.

l Cinderella with Cathy Murphy from Eastenders, Matt Milburn from Emmerdale opens at The Cresset in Peterborough on December 13 and will run until December 30

l Aladdin can be seen in Rutland County Museum from Friday, December 16 at 6.30pm and Saturday, December 17 at 11am and 3pm. Tickets are £6 each or £20 for a family of two adults and two children or one adult and three children.

l Cinderella by Stamford Pantomime players opens at Stamford Corn Exchange on December 27 with performances at 2pm, 4pm and 7pm until December 30. Tickets are £9 for adults £9 and £7 for children.

l Ringstone Players’ production of Babes in the Wood can be seen in Edenham Village Hall on Friday, January 6 at 7.30pm and Saturday, January 7 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

l Aladdin by Oundle Amateur Theatrical Society opens at Victoria Hall in Oundle on Wednesday, January 25 at 7.30pm with performances on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 at 7.30pm and Saturday, January 28 at 3pm and 7pm. Tickets are £8 (£6) or £25 for a family of four from Greetings in Oundle.

l Sinbad the Sailor by The Whissendine Stars can be seen at Whissendine Village Hall on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28.
