UPDATED: Fireworks displays 2015

This weekend is set to go off with a bang with plenty of fabulous firework displays and blazing bonfires taking place across the area.

The Stamford Kiwanis annual bonfire and fireworks spectacular will be held at Stamford Welland Academy on Saturday. Gates open at 5pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Entrance will be £5 for adults and £2 for children.

The Lions Club of Rutland annual firework display will take place at Oakham Rugby Club on Saturday. There will be two displays on the night, the first will be designed with smaller children in mind, and the second display more suited to the whole family. Entrance will be £5 for everyone over five years of age. Gates open at 6pm, with the first display starting at 7pm.

Deepings Rugby Club is hosting a Fireworks Extravaganza tonight. Gates will open at 6pm and the display will start at 7.30pm. Adults £5, children £3.

The 1st Market Deeping Guides will host a bonfire and fireworks display at Greenlands from 6pm, on Saturday. Adults £4, children £2.

Bourne Abbey Church of England Academy PTFA and Bourne and District Round Table have joined together to bring you a firework spectacular on Saturday. Two displays, a bonfire, live music, stalls and a fairground, will take place from 5pm at Bourne Abbey’s school field in Manning Road.

The annual bonfire night celebrations organised by Whissendine Primary School will take place at Whissendine Sports Club on Saturday at 5.30pm.
