The Rotary Club of Rutland invites all young musicians to participate in its 16th Annual Young Musicians competition, which takes place on Saturday, January 24.

The competition is open to all budding young musicians and vocalists between the ages of six and 17, either resident or at school in the area.

The venue will once again be Uppingham Community College by kind permission of the principal Jan Turner. All Rutland schools have been sent invitations and entry forms. This event provides an opportunity for children in three age categories instrumental or vocal, individuals, groups or choirs to perform in front of an audience. Parents, teachers families and friends are very welcome.

It is always a very enjoyable and entertaining day.

Anyone requiring an entry form or further information please ring Gail Griffin 01572 722439 or e-mail tgriffin@btclick.com. The closing date for entries is Friday.
